The Competition Winners (2007)

Welcome to the Vodafone Betavine Student Competitions. Below you find an introduction to each of the winning entries. The competition catagories were split into four areas and deliberately broad in scope, we did not want to limit people's imaginations. We plan to launch some more competitions soon so watch this space!

Unfortunately the only entry in this category was from Vodafone Portugal and was therefore not eligible for a prize. Thanks to Pedro Nogueira for a great entry though!

Guidelines for Student Competitions
All student competitions run on Vodafone Betavine are operated under the Student Competition Terms . The winner and the runners-up of each competition are eligible to win prizes, for more information please see the details of the relevant competition. 

Key elements for successful entries
We’re looking for the following elements in successful entries:

* Inventive
* Functionality
* Usefulness
* Ease of Use
* Performance

How to submit your entry
1. Fill out the competition entry form and, after checking that your details are correct, submit your form - a student project will be automatically opened up for you. This has to be done after the registration opening date and before the submission closing date.
2. Read and accept the Student Competition Terms.
3. You may use the student project area on the website as a working space for the project until the application is ready.
4. Work with your supervisor on your application and submit it before the application submission closing date and whilst you are a student.
5. Your entry is not complete until you have uploaded your application.

Deliverables
The final deliverables expected for each competition are:
   - a student project on Vodafone Betavine - this is set up when you enter a competition
- a project description etc. as part of the student project page on Vodafone Betavine
- an application uploaded to the student project on Betavine
- a brief user guide
- additional uploads as required for your project
