NIMBLE SOFTWARE is an off-shoot from NiMBLE, the Nelson Mandela Bay Local Environmentalist registered non-profit.

A longterm NIMBLE goal has been to develop mobile app's that have significant positive impact on the environment.

About 18 mths ago we brainstormed the possibility of developing a mobile application that could save paper.

Today, 90% of paper pulp is made of wood. Paper production accounts for about 35% of felled trees, and represents 1.2% of the world's total economic output. Not printing a cash register receipt could save about 100 ton of wood per day !

The concept we envisaged was to be named - Bleep.

The idea was to encourage shoppers who desire a till receipt to ask for it to be BLEEPED directly to their mobile phones.

As NIMBLE has not made ANY ground and hasn't made this a reality, our CHALLENGE is to you... to make it happen !
