A Challenge on the Social Exchange is any problem or issue that your community faces that may have a mobile component to the Solution. By raising your Challenge on the Social Exchange you open it to the community who will help you find a Solution.
If you have signed up as a Betavine user, you can now Raise a Challenge.
It’s a good idea to begin with some background information on your organisation, as well as detailing your Challenge.

Here are some suggestions for types of ICT based Challenges you might consider:

You may also find it useful to familiarise yourself with what people are already doing with mobile in the developing world. We have put a summary together here.
The more detailed information you enter on your 'Raise a Challenge' page the more likely you are to get a useful response. Remember to fill in the tags and location boxes so your Challenge is more easily searchable for other users.
You can go back to review and update your Challenge whenever you want. On the Challenge admin page you have access to a range of functions to help you manage your Challenge over time. You can invite other users to work with you as joint Challenge Owners, edit discussion posts, mark your Challenge as officially solved, and add information about sponsorship you may receive from Support Partners via BSX.
Feel free to contact listed Support Partners directly to see if they may be interested in funding the deployment of your Challenge. Support Partners can be found on the Partners page (click on the drop-down menu and select Support Partners):
As a Challenge Owner it's a good idea to talk to developers and Support Partners about what they're willing to offer and what they may want in return.
