In order to control usage of the APIs, a simple credit-based system is used. Credits will be deducted for any API services that incur a cost to Vodafone Betavine such as sending SMS messages.

The credit system will be updated to automatically reset a users credit back to the initially allocated value at the start of each month, as long the account is active.

Regular use of the site (e.g. commenting on forum posts, uploading and download applications) will ensure your account retains its active state. If problems are experienced accessing the API because an account has not been used for some time, a request to webmaster@betavine.net can be made to re-activate the account.

When users successfully registers with Vodafone Betavine providing a mobile number they will be awarded 100 credits. The cost of sending a message using the API is 1 credit. These values are subject to change.
